Hello Twelve Sky 2 Community,

There have been several reports of the 12Sky 2 Classic launcher causing Windows Defender to flag our game client.

Our developers have assured us that the files in question are false flags. However, we are currently working with our developers to resolve this issue.

In the meantime, if you are having difficulties launching our client and want to allow the 12Sky 2 Client to launch, you can follow these steps to make Exclusions in Windows Defender for Windows 10/11 

Windows 10

1. Go to Settings and select Update & Security

2. Select Windows Security on the left and Open Windows Security

3. In Windows Security, select Virus & threat protection

4. In Virus & threat protection, select Manage settings

5. Scroll down to find Exclusions

6. Add an exclusion

7. Select Folder

8. Find your 12Sky2 Classic folder and add it to exclusions

The Default location is C:\RedFox Games\12Sky2 Classic

For Steam users, the default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\12Sky2 Classic

Windows 11

1. In Settings, go to Privacy & security and select Windows Security

2. Select Virus & threat protection

3. In Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage Settings

4. Scroll down in this menu until you see Exclusions

5. Add an exclusion / Folder

6. Find your 12Sky2 Classic folder and add it to exclusions

The Default location is C:\RedFox Games\12Sky2 Classic

For Steam users, the default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\12Sky2 Classic
